Ceara goes to Park Hill High and wanted something with more of a fashion flare. She came over our studio with her sister and cousin and we had a lot of fun with different outfits both indoor and outdoor.

Our first wedding of the season at Art’s Incubator was fabulous. Andy & Jeff were beautiful, natural and really emotional! That’s what makes great photos:) Nice job on the hair & makeup, Breanna! (Be Chic) Danielle from Soiree Event Designs made sure the day was just what they had dreamed of down to the last detail and the flowers from Branches & Twigs were sensational (awesome chandelier jam packed with gorgeous flowers and crystals) The bride loved her bouquet!! The folks from Lon Lane’s Inspired Occasions wined and dined the intimate party of close friends and family. Cake was by Rebekah Foster – yes! it was beautiful!! I was really impressed by the band (Caybara) who learned some songs at the couples request! I loved their taste in music. The photobooth was really fun too:) All in all it was a perfect day in every way.

Brooke’s senior session was pretty well planned ahead. We shot her sister Taylor 2 years ago and now was her turn to be photographed. But she didn’t want to do something like we did with her big sister so we’ve got together and brainstormed about what her images should look like. Once we start talking it was clear to me that she is such a spontaneous, energetic girl we had to do something unique for her senior photography. Did I tell you she is also an awesome dancer and performs at the school play? After talking about different outfit options it was time to come up with some locations for the photoshoot, all located north Kansas City, pretty close to the River Market.

Can you believe our baby is one already? My mom always used to make dogfood and cottage cheese cakes for our dogs so naturally, I am keeping this tradition. Dude was in doggy heaven!
