Newborn baby photography – Claire by Marco

This is were we show you a preview of Nick and Jamie newborn baby photography.

We were the wedding photographers for Jamie and Nick’s wedding almost 5 years ago. Of course the wedding was a great event, everybody had a great time and at the end of a long exciting day we left this young couple in love knowing they had what it takes to make a solid relationship work and last.

You know, after a few years doing what we do and meeting many couples you kinda get to experience their relationship from a privileged point of view and you develop a “nose” for good interactions.

Anyway, I receive a phone call few weeks ago. It’s Nick. He sais: “Hi I am Nick, you shot our wedding few years ago and now we have a BABY! We would love for you to take some pictures of our newborn. By the way, do you remember us?” And I am like: Of course I remember you guys! We did a killer sunset session on the golf course at the end of the day. What’s her name? How old is she?…” you got the gist.

Needless to say it’s always a great pleasure when you realize that you didn’t just took pictures at somebody’s wedding. You have created a relationship. It’s not like being the family doctor in a rural village in 1800 or the climbing partner during the escalation of the north face of Cerro Torre, Patagonia. Nevertheless a sense of connection is undeniable and a certain pride in doing what you do and knowing you did it right one again.
