Colleen, senior session at the west bottoms by MarcoThis was Colleen’s second session. We had a studio portrait session before, when we played with different outfits and photographed her in the safe and relaxed environment of our Lees Summit studio. For her outdoor session she wanted something edgier and raw. She insisted in going at the West Bottoms, downtown Kansas City. I was afraid that that place was going to be too rough for her. Was I wrong! I haven’t had that much fun in a long time. She was the perfect model. Playing with the poses and ideas I was trowing at her and the adding something of her own. Love the sun flare on the picture above. Master blending of photoshop textures and yummy tones thanks to custom Lightroom presets. Thanks Jan, you rock. I don’t remember who got more excited when we found this lot full of beaten up cars. It must have been me that pulled out the tilt and shift out of the bag though. I love how this lens can create selective focus and isolate just a narrow strip right over her eyes. After several shots she decided to drop the tomboy attitude and put on a more serious outfit. What a transformation.
