Alaina & Phillip {Kansas City Wedding Photographers} by Marco

This is a post about a lovely wedding of Alaina and Phill I got to shoot with Chuck as Kansas City Wedding Photographers. I love italian weddings, not just because I am italian and I feel a little bit more at home but because the people and the way the do things is just different. Not sure how to describe it but the love for beautiful things, the care into details, the appreciation for friends and family coming from far away to celebrate and, of course, the passion for food are always somethings that I can relate to. Not that other celebrations don’t share the same elements but where else can you find a 40 foot table just for home made cookies?

The day of the wedding was just as you would imagine, full of emotions, tears, family and laughter. We did invest some time during the day just to celebrate those feelings and connections. Family photography and portraits is a very important part of a wedding and we didn’t want to cut short time and resources to this so we planned the day in a way that helped us creating moments and occasions to do some classic and never out of style family portraiture.

We have shot an engagement session with them few months before and also a spectacular bridal session. We have put together in months of work a set of images that they encompass the love and passion that they share for each other and their families. I am sure the will enjoy looking at those images for many years and pass to the next generations the care and love and energy that takes to trow a big fat italian wedding!
