Gina & Jeff by Marco

This was our last wedding of 2008 and it was perfect in every way! It was a mild November day here in Kansas City. The bride and groom waited until the ceremony to see each other … well Gina couldn’t wait so she and her sister Amy grabbed a peek from the getting ready room!!

Beautiful light … beautiful couple. The ceremony made us all cry! We got a great shot of Jeff having a melt-down on the altar as Gina walked down the isle but we won’t embarrass him here on the blog. It was really touching!

We said goodbye St. Margaret’s in Lee’s Summit and hopped on the trolley headed for the West Bottoms in downtown Kansas City.

Another great shot with my camera bag in the shot! Sort of a signature thing for me I guess.
The wedding party was so much fun that we forgot that we were working. I love my job!

Gina and Jeff have the coolest meeting story ever. They have know each other since the 5th grade and have stayed good for all these years. Jeff still had the love note that Gina wrote to him back in 5th grade so he returned the note years later with a reply of “I love you too” along with an engagement ring. AWWWW!!

We found a little “love shack” that was just waiting for a beautiful bride & groom to come along!

The bridesmaids jumped at the chance to show off their modeling prowess.

Not to mention the groomsmen … very studdly!

Jeff cops a kiss from his bride.

Even though Gina had to hang her head out of the trolley window to keep from spilling, she was a real trooper!

The Madrid Theatre in mid-town Kansas City was breathtaking as always! Gina and Jeff get this years award for dancing with each other just about all night long!! … it was a genuine good time for everyone there!
The evening ended with some night photography at the Madrid but the memory lingers on…
Gina & Jeff, you guys did an awesome job of enjoying your day and just being yourselves which makes our job a real pleasure! XOXO
